Telehale

Telehealth video and scheduling with an e-prescribing pathway built in

Telehale is a telehealth platform under your brand for independent practices and small specialty clinics — video visits, scheduling, intake forms, payment, and an e-prescribing pathway via DoseSpot or a customer-supplied EPCS partner. It is HIPAA-aware end-to-end: encryption at rest with customer-managed keys, BAA available on the License model, and audit logs of who-saw-what for every PHI access.

Key features

  • HIPAA-aware video visit (HD, screen-share, low-bandwidth fallback)
  • Branded patient-facing booking and intake forms
  • Provider availability with multi-state license metadata and routing
  • Payment at booking time (Stripe with HSA/FSA card acceptance)
  • E-prescribing via DoseSpot integration (or customer-supplied EPCS partner)
  • SOAP note template with auto-fill from intake form
  • Patient-side portal for past visits, prescriptions, and follow-up booking
  • PHI access audit log queryable by patient or provider for legal subpoena

What you get

Telehale launches as a multi-tenant SaaS under your brand on a HIPAA-eligible host (AWS or Aptible — not vanilla Vercel). BAA paperwork is part of the License kickoff. The first provider completes onboarding in their first session and runs a real video visit in under an hour; e-prescribing typically activates after DoseSpot’s separate provider verification (3–7 days outside our control).

Sample customer story (placeholder — illustrative only)

A 12-provider behavioral-health practice licensed Telehale to escape SimplePractice + a separate Doxy.me + a third-party prescription tool, all of which lived under different brands. The win after one quarter was the patient experience: NPS of new patients rose 18 points, and the practice’s CEO reported that a quarter of new-patient acquisitions cited the “all in one app” experience as the reason they completed signup.

What’s NOT included

  • Full EHR. Telehale is the telehealth + visit-charting layer; clinics keep their existing EHR for the rest. (Or pair with Patientlink for the patient-portal-and-EHR-lite shape.)
  • In-person clinical workflow (rooming, vitals capture, lab orders). Telehealth-shaped only.
  • Insurance claims submission (837 EDI workflow). Out of scope; pair with Candid Health, Claim.MD, or a customer-supplied billing partner.
  • DEA-EPCS provider enrollment. We integrate DoseSpot; provider enrollment is out of our control and adds 3–7 days post-go-live.
