Routerunner

Delivery dispatch with a driver mobile app that works in basements

Routerunner is a delivery-dispatch platform with a driver mobile app under your brand. Dispatcher web console assigns and routes; the driver app accepts jobs, navigates, captures proof of delivery, and works offline when the warehouse loading dock has no signal. It is built on the Field/Mobile Workforce Stack because the device the driver actually uses determines whether the operation runs or limps.

Key features

  • Dispatcher web console with map view, job board, and route optimization
  • Driver iOS + Android app with accept / pickup / deliver workflow
  • Offline-first capture (signatures, photos, barcode scans) with sync on reconnect
  • Turn-by-turn navigation via Mapbox Navigation SDK
  • Customer ETA notifications via SMS with live track-the-package link
  • Multi-stop route optimization with vehicle constraints (capacity, time windows)
  • Proof of delivery (signature, photo, geo-tag) bundled per delivery
  • Reporting on on-time rate, route efficiency, dwell time, exception rate

What you get

Routerunner ships as a paired iOS + Android driver app and a dispatcher web console under your brand. Drivers download the app from the App Store / Play Store listing under your brand. Mapbox Navigation is wired on day one; the customer’s existing dispatch system is bridged via webhook or replaced wholesale.

Sample customer story (placeholder — illustrative only)

A regional same-day courier service with 80 drivers licensed Routerunner to escape an Onfleet install whose pricing had climbed past $4k/month and whose driver app was a constant complaint at every weekly meeting. Six months in, on-time delivery rose from 87% to 93% — the driver app’s offline-first behavior accounted for most of that, since Onfleet had been dropping captures whenever a driver entered a parking garage.

What’s NOT included

  • Long-haul / over-the-road trucking dispatch. Routerunner is local / regional; OTR is a different shape.
  • Fleet maintenance and asset management. Use Fleethub.
  • Field service management (work orders for technicians). Use Sitecrew.
  • Customer-side e-commerce / catalog. This handles the delivery layer; pair with Storeline / Bazaar if you need front-of-funnel.
