Formworks

Branded forms with conditional logic and a real workflow engine behind them

Formworks is a form builder that pairs a Typeform-quality input experience with a Zapier-quality workflow engine on the backend. Every form is a workflow trigger — submit a form and Formworks can route the response, auto-create a record in another system, fire a Slack ping, kick off a multi-step approval, or email a templated PDF. It is the app you reach for when "we need a form" turns out to mean "we need a form, and a thing the form does."

Key features

  • Drag-and-drop builder with 20+ field types and conditional logic branches
  • Multi-step forms with progress indicators and resume-by-link

What you get

Formworks ships as a multi-tenant SaaS under your brand. A starter set of templates (lead capture, expense submission, employee referral, customer onboarding) seeds your first workspace. The form builder is what end-users touch; the workflow editor is the part operations teams quietly fall in love with.

Sample customer story (placeholder — illustrative only)

A 380-person residential property manager licensed Formworks to replace four Typeform subscriptions and a flaky Zapier-Airtable bridge. The “tenant move-in” workflow alone — twelve fields, three branches, two PDF outputs, one Slack ping, one record created in their PMS — cut the manual ops cost on each move-in by an estimated 40 minutes.

What’s NOT included

  • Database / spreadsheet view of submissions. Submissions export cleanly to Postgres or any downstream tool; Formworks does not try to be Airtable’s table-and-grid surface.
  • AI form generation from a prompt. Building the form is human work; if you want an LLM to draft a form for you, that’s a paid Pass-2 customization.
  • Survey-style CSAT / NPS programs. Use Surveysmith — better reporting for that shape.
  • Marketing landing pages. Formworks renders form pages, not full-bleed marketing pages with sections and CMS content.
