Bazaar

Multi-vendor marketplace with payouts, search, and trust signals built in

Bazaar is a launch-ready two-sided marketplace under your brand. It bundles Stripe Connect for split payments, Algolia-powered faceted search, KYC onboarding, dispute and refund flows, and a moderation queue — the parts of a marketplace that are tedious-but-table-stakes and that, left to a custom build, will spend a quarter of an engineer's year on each. The first vendor onboards on day one of your live deployment.

Key features

  • Vendor onboarding with Stripe Connect Express (KYC built in)
  • Split-payment checkout with platform fee and tax handling
  • Configurable payout schedules (instant, daily, weekly, per-order)
  • Faceted search and filters via Algolia, themed to your brand
  • Listings with variants, photos, location, and custom attribute fields
  • Vendor dashboard with sales, payouts, disputes, and 1099-K exports
  • Buyer-side reviews, vendor responses, and a dispute resolution flow
  • Admin moderation queue with auto-flagging rules (price outliers, banned terms)

What you get

Bazaar lands as a two-population SaaS — buyers and vendors — under your brand and your domain. Vendors complete KYC through Stripe in their first session and can list product within minutes. Buyers transact through a checkout that splits funds between vendor and platform automatically.

Sample customer story (placeholder — illustrative only)

A regional B2B marketplace for restaurant-grade kitchen equipment licensed Bazaar to run their two-sided platform connecting restaurants to commercial sellers. By month three, $2.1M GMV had cleared the platform with a 12% take-rate and zero hand-rolled payout reconciliation — the founders spent their time on supply acquisition, not on building the wedge of marketplace plumbing that everybody else also has.

What’s NOT included

  • Single-vendor storefronts. If there’s only one merchant, use Storeline (Commerce Stack) — it’s the right tool and a quarter of the price.
  • Sub-second live auctions. Bazaar supports timed listings and Buy It Now; for sub-second bidding (like a fine-art auction house’s live floor), see Auctionhall on the Realtime Mobile Stack.
  • On-chain settlement. Payouts run through Stripe Connect to bank accounts. Crypto-native settlement is not a current path.
  • Customer-side ML ranking. Listings rank on a configurable score combining recency, conversion rate, and editorial boost. ML-driven ranking is a paid Pass-2 customization.
